Mission and Vision
Our Mission
To mobilize students at RGUKT Srikakulam to respond to emergencies, support peers and communities in need, and build a campus culture where service, transparency, and mutual care are normal—not exceptional. We exist to turn empathy into organized action: verified cases, accountable funds, and programs that anyone can join.
Through medical camps, welfare drives, environmental initiatives, and structured giving, we make sure student energy translates into lasting good for individuals and for society.
Our Vision
A university community where every student believes they can make a difference—and has clear pathways to do so. We envision Sahaaya Mithra as a trusted bridge between those who want to help and those who need it: fast, fair, and visible in how we work.
Long term, we want graduates to carry this ethic into their careers and communities, so the habit of service started at RGUKT ripples outward for years to come.
Our Core Values & Ethics
These values shape how we recruit, decide, spend, and speak on behalf of the organization.
Student ownership
Leadership and service stay in student hands—with faculty guidance, not top-down control.
Dignity & inclusion
Help is offered with respect; everyone in our community deserves to be seen as more than a case file.
Evidence & care
We pair careful verification with compassion so support reaches real needs without delay or doubt.
Learning by doing
Organizing drives, camps, and relief teaches responsibility that lasts beyond a single semester.
Collective impact
Small gifts from many students add up to life-changing support—coordination makes the difference.
Stewardship
Funds, time, and trust are treated as sacred; we report, reflect, and improve continuously.
