What We Do

Sahaaya Mithra is a student-driven social impact organization based at RGUKT Srikakulam, committed to transforming collective student contributions into meaningful social change. Through structured initiatives and active campus participation, we consistently organize service-oriented programs that address real-world challenges faced by individuals and communities.

Our social service initiatives span across multiple domains, combining fundraising, awareness, and direct service activities. We have successfully implemented innovative programs such as waste book management, where unused academic materials are collected and converted into financial resources to support critical cases. In addition, we conduct medical camps to promote health awareness and provide basic healthcare access, reinforcing our commitment to community well-being.

Environmental responsibility is another key focus area. Through plantation drives and sustainability initiatives, we actively encourage students to contribute towards ecological balance and long-term environmental health. Alongside these efforts, we organize socially integrated events such as Teacher's Day and Diwali celebrations, using these occasions to spread awareness, strengthen community bonding, and promote the spirit of giving within the campus.

Programs and Participation

Our large-scale engagement initiatives, including events like ERASMUS and Campus Hunt, bring together hundreds of students, creating a platform where participation is directly linked to social contribution. Structured programs such as "Donation Day" further enable consistent and voluntary student participation, ensuring a steady flow of support for verified cases.
